We have decided we don't have the time to sort this
It was a father/son project but I have my VVC that he helps with and my son has a classic mini he is rebuilding from the bare shell.

It is a late mk1 1.8i and completely original except for a rose jointed alternator bracket.

Unfortunately the engine is seized, I think due to a failed inlet manifold gasket letting coolant build up in the cylinders while the car has been parked nose down. Also all the tyres are knackered, the rear brakes have locked on and there are signs of corrosion, mainly in the doors.

The car was running when I parked it about a year ago and has only done 48K.

The car is yours for £50, less than scrap value.
If you want the decent (VVC) wheels, rust free doors and wings I need to ask for what they cost me so £150.

No, not a VVC but still nippy and actually quicker off the line than the VVC.
