The coloured covers for manual mirrors are internally different from electric mirrors, and as such they are not interchangeable.
I know as when I converted my car from manual to electric mirrors, I went to swap over the covers (so as to have the mirrors match the rest of the car) and it couldn't be done. One type has a mounting lug for the mechanism and the other doesn't.

So for a conversion, the covers would need to be painted to match as the covers from the existing mirrors can't be swapped over.

I don't know if my mirrors were different but I swapped the guts of some electric mirrors into the manual frames that were on my car. It was a while ago so I don't remeber the details but I do remeber it was a pain in the preverable (sp).

I am interested in coil packs my car is 2004 TF , I live near cheadle hulme not far the Manchester airport so can you PM ME on how much etc
