Hi all had a TF since 2007 and it is just surviving. Been outside all it's life but hanging on.

Hi Karl. Its good to hear you have owned your TF since 2007, in which time its transitioned from nearly new sportscar to near classic status. Is this your first time on the T bar forum ? Its a great source of information. With the F and TF all issues have been encountered by now so there is a wealth of knowledge around the owner communities, a lot of advice and self help.

Hi all . Had subframe work done a few years ago by MGF&TFBItz otherwise it would have been scrapped . Put some rust free used wings on last November in the street at RAF Leeming in sunny N Yorks. Plus stainless inner wing brackets . And a few cans of Wax oil. Got a used door drivers side to go on after the car was side swiped . Plus a used boot lid and bumper. Have no drive as now in Quarters at Stanmore. Luckily the old girl is ULEZ compliant so she is being given a refresh. She had 12000 miles on the clock in 2007 when we got her and now has 72000. Needs some welding on the front and back sills before they go. Waiting for my lad to do the welding. Will use the Mike Satur parts . Then the seats need a refurb on the bolsters and the embroidery in the Alcantara painting (seen it done somewhere online). Possibly an exhaust soon. Anyone got an exhaust pref sports stainless available or can recommend one . Like the look of the GT one that Trophy Cars do. Manifold will be done as well when budget allows.

My father worked for Reliant and we had a GTE 3ltr in Green with green leather interior. It was his works car. He was Assistant Sales manager. Delorian and Clive Sinclair also worked there . My dad has some great stories and showed Princess Ann around the Factory in Tamworth.
