Ok, I go...
since I removed door cards to change the door lock, I decided to fine tune the windows to eliminate the leaks. So I have followed the howtos found here and on mg-rover forum. But something went wrong, because leaks got graeater, mostly on driver's door, left side in Italy.
So I have to manage again to get a good contact between glasses and rubbers, but I need some info:
1) glasses have to push on the cantrail from down to up, it's correct? Or outside to inside?
2) If so (down to up), to achieve a good seal I have to let the glasses to rise a lot, and then it become hard to open or to close the doors.
3) as doors get close to the rubbers, rubbers push the glasses outward, and if I want the glasses to stay underneath the cantrail I have to push them by myself, which doesn't seem to be the correct behavior. Is it?
A picture of the rear mirror: rubbers are ok?
Thank you for everything!
