Picked up a decent hood this morning that I won off Ebay, fitted it and went off for a run round the coast of Fife, stopping for chips at Anstruther. Oil and coolant is staying where it should be, plenty of power, silent idle and instant starting. I think this will turn out to be a decent car Had an issue with clutch slip for the first few miles which really wound me up, but it was only the old sticky clutch arm. Used to get exactly the same problems with X1/9's that had been laid up for a while. Just have to give the car a good clean and polish now. Todays bonus was an early James Bond shape Esprit Turbo parked at the harbour. Nice view for eating chips

The MGF is coming along, clutch is finally freeing up, new slave cylinder on it's way, suspension pumped up, oil changed again and the underside shutzed and waxoyled. I just need some free time to drive it more!
