If your fob is playing up and changing the battery only seems to temporarily improve things check the three solder points on the battery cradle - they may be dry joints!

I re-soldered Meg's and never had the issue again!

You need to use a little flux and some electrical cored solder. Be careful not to heat the area too much or you may damage the printed circuits.
