Driving at 50 along a nice straight flat road was terrifying...like driving on black ice with a strong cross-wind. Turns out the rear offside wheel moves about 1cm top to bottom...makes the car steer itself a bit like a wonky supermarket trolley Booked in to my "local" MG garage (not easy living much of the time in France) to change the bearings and hub.
Strangely, the collapsed bearings made no noise at all!!!
Now I'm here, perhaps someone can help me with another "mystery"... For about a month now, I've been occasionally hearing a noise when turning left or right, especially at low speed which seems to come from behind the driver. I can only describe the sound as that of a duck Quack Quack.....
Anyone else had Donald duck as a passenger???
Keep up the good work!!!!!!
