Following on from the success of this years Aviemore run we are planning a trip to the Italian lakes.

It will be around a week and will involve some nice driving, some local (ish) touristy type things and probably some drinking. ;)

We WILL be doing the following while we are there.

Stelvio Pass

http://www.fogonazos.es/2007/08/stelvio-pass-road-48-hairpin-turns-to.html

Ferrari Museum

http://www.ferrari.com/English/about_ferrari/Ferrari-Museum/Pages/Home-Museo.aspx

At the moment we are looking at a location that sleeps 6 couples, but there is only one room not accounted for, a twin room.

If you definitely want to commit to this and are prepared to pay a deposit then if there is more demand we can look at a larger villa.

Unfortunately we cannot accomodate maybe's, only definites. This may sound harsh, but if we book a villa for 20 and then 3 couples decide they aren't coming after all then the extra cost will have to be shared out between the people going which isn't really fair.

The Aviemore trip was a fantastic week, which I'm sure anyone who went will testify to. So this should be at least equally as good, if not better due to the location (no offence meant Scotland ;) ).

Booking dates will be around 4 - 11 Aug 2012, but travelling time to and from will add another 4 days (2 days there and 2 days back).

Costs for the Villa will be £250 - £300 per head, but you will also have to factor in fuel, food, ferries and accommodation while travelling to/from the villa. Usually a campanile is around £40 for a night. If we can have names early enough we can arrange a block booking at the Campanile or whatever and the ferry. May save a few quid.

So, if you definitely want to come and can commit to this then let us know in the next couple of days.

We are pretty much booked up for this now, so if anyone still wants to go it will be on a standby system in case anyone drops out, or we can help if you want to book your own accommodation.

As said previously, we are fully booked now for this run, but we could put you on the reserve list in case anyone drops out if you want.

Hi David, sorry for my long keeping silent but I was really busy!

This gonna be a great event. It sounds like an unmissable chance to meet nice people who is sharing the same passion
As member of TFP Club I would be glad to organize a meeting point in north Italy (i.e. Stelvio) or wherever you consider the most appropriate. As Patrizio said, I'm sure a lot of MG guys from Italy would be happy to joint to this meeting.
If you don't mind I would like to advertise your trip on the MGF/TF Italian forum, since someone (ehm  like me) is not registered on FB. What you think about it?

I'm looking forward to meeting you all :woohoo:
