Fri 27th November - An Evening with Ian Pogson

"The best-handling TF ever from Longbridge – A Chief Engineer’s considered view"

Ian will cover the following:-

1.The testing and planning behind the re-launch of the LE500
2. The planning and execution of the best-handling TF ever - the 85th Anniversary
3. Living and working in China – a humorous look at a culture clash


Ian will be bringing with him an 85th Anniversary model for people to look at and also test drive (numbers dependant) if they wish.

MG Cardiff (Fordthornes) have offered us their showroom for the evening for this event inc nibbles and tea/coffee - they also have something special under wraps which we can have a look at when we get there

The evening will start from around 7pm and go on until we go home





I realise Cardiff is a fair way to come for most folks, but if anyone does fancy it, please let me know and I'll add you to the list

Yeah something about a menace to society or something... I wasn't really listening.

But seriously, all meets etc. are off the cards for me & Frank... just found out we are being made redundant at the end of the month. Merry christmas eh?

Yeah these companies always seem to go bust before christmas it's a bit of a kick in the backside! Still I've applied for four jobs today already so hopefully someone will give in and employ me!

Am rather tempted by this Jan, good excuse for a weekend away as well Just not sure I could make it in time from work. Just over 3 hours is the estimated journey time and I finish at 4 Might try and sneak away an hour early if Linda's interested in coming. Any good (ie cheap ) B&Bs or Travel Lodges nearby?
