This is Poppy, our very furry Bearded Collie, she's just had a brush but that won't last long!

My parents had a bearded collie when I was a kid they are beautiful dogs but that fur does take some looking after. Do you have the problem in winter time with snow balls forming on her legs (if we get any snow). I spent many hours with a hairdryer thawing them out.

What a beautiful girl poppy is.

'Mushers wax' prevents snow-balls forming between their pads. ;)

Hi All. Who said they wanted a Bearded Collie, are you sure, an hours brushing every other day and they WILL end up in the stinkiest muddiest pond they can find just to annoy you.
On the other hand, they are such a hoot, very very intelligent, my last Beardie Max who died 7 months ago invented his own games and even ended up on telly playing football.
I want to get a Beardie pup but my wife won't let me. :nonod:

Cheers

Geoff.
