The more I deal with people, the more I like my dog (or cats). No idea who first said that, but it works for me. A house without a dog, or a cat, is a house. A house with a dog or a cat, is a home.

And isn't it funny how people who have, or even just like, animals, are so much easier to get on with than people who don't?



Our Henry.

Well a couple of months on, Jemma has grown just a bit and she has a new hobby, turning my back yard into a scale replica of trench warfare. We had a bit of a "moment" the other night when My son James left a tube of superglue on the ground and Jemma decided that it needed chewing, fortunately she didn't glue anything major together and she got a clean bill of health from the Vet. Now some new photos of the spotty behemoth.

I have been reliably informed that she will only keep growing for about another 2 years -

She would be a lot of fun. My pointer has only recently started to slow down a bit after turning 3. Also started to fill out.

Jeez, animals beat humans any day of the week. No insult ntended, but you all know it is true...

A couple of great looking pooches there John.

After running into a gate on the weekend and badly cutting her paw, Jemma, the Spotty Behemoth is not a happy puppy. Saturday evening we had a trip to the Vet for stitches and a sleepover. $600.00 thanks for coming and several replacement bandages later including her favourite the special $33.00 Vet recommended "bitter one that she wont touch". Jemma has now been sentenced to the Cone of Shame and is not talking to me.
