Do it on a second pair of lights as this now fails the latest MOT regs. Just swap them at test time.

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

Go to Halfords and buy some rear light tinting spray. Degrease the rear lenses by washing thoroughly with washing up liquid and dry thoroughly. Mask the bodywork off and spray the lenses following the instructions on the can. Really is that simple.
