No, it's more to do with the designers using a dingy for the body shape!

I have to say that I drive my F at speeds 'near' to the speed limit and do notice any issues with handling. At least not in a straight line which is surely where splitters and spoilers may help.

Unless you're driving at significantly higher speeds, I have to say that I cannot see the need from a stability perspective, not that ive driven an F with a splitter or spoiler.

They can look ok though.
