The tremendous increase in torque and boost in horsepower meant that I was glad of the extra stability provided by wedging this highly engineered torsion bar between my rear wheel arches.

The strut might work.

Similar to what Adam has had welded to his rear subframe on his VTEC conversion.

Not sure they are suggesting you bolt it in the boot.
