As I had rust problems I decided to get the car ready for the winter with this bit of kit from a Mx5 :D:D:D

Looks real nice Sergi. We're missing too many 'how to' guides with you. Make some (please) and your posts will last forever. You will be immortalised. :)

As long as the bill gets paid. :P

Well, the problem is I don't feel confident enough to do how to guides  Really i'm a novice as I never did any work in my cars till now so I'm afraid to do things wrong to take the time and the camera to take the shoots.... :-?

Really I wouldn't trust myself so I only follow the how tos that are in the site....

Let's move to the best mod so far... I didn't win and I still haven't got the electrics sorted but... a friend of mine with good welder skills fit me those sweet seats for me...

I used first this how to!

http://forums.mg-rover.org/showthread.php?t=297825
And the result

But I didn't fit in the car as the seat was far too high at that point I asked for help in a local car enthusiaust forum and I talked to my friend he needed new runners and he managed to fit them in the car with a bit of tinkering

Here you can see the passenger fitted and the drivers done by myself

I have to get the electrics sorted, I will update and I have to take pictures with both seats lowered...

Re: Sonic! project! Pic Heavy! 12 years 4 months ago #34591

As you see I changed the steering wheel for a new one as well... during the process I broke the SRS steering coupler

I also got a laser alingment done and they did such a mess the car now is undriveable so I will get it sorted after the christmas holidays as I'm writing from Spain at the minute... Now next step will be get the best suspension set up for the TF, get some stripes and enjoy the car as much as I can! :woohoo:
