It was at Colerne Airfield near Bath, had a fantastic day with no problems with the car apart from a 360 spin out which I rather enjoyed 
Didnt get a chance to drive the MX5, but I sat in as passenger, it seemed more "stable" to me, but was probably just my driving style! the TF was certainly quicker, but of course it was the missus driving the MX5
