And today ... the dash cubby. Really chuffed as the old blank really let the cabin down.

So that's it inside for a while until I decide on a head unit - but no rush there. Next will be the bodywork after I've saved up a bit of hobby money.

The cubby looks particularly good. Where was that from in the end and did you have to send them back the old blanking panel ?

Alec sent me details of a guy on facebook. He will do you one on exchange so it would match your interior trim, or supply one without you sending yours for a few more £s. Mine was fubarred anyway, so I got one from him and have the blank to swap back in there if I ever want to.

Well - after some paint correction on the rear went well, the front not quite, I took her out for a wee drive this morning. EML on. Bizarre - I've literally been nowhere and it's just been sat in the garage...
Hopefully a few longer drives will clear it - failing that I guess I'll need to spend out on some diagnostics.

So I've got her back from the smart repair guy. Looking much better than it did. Happy with the outcome.
Also cleared the fault with a £13 tool from the bay of E. Obviously need to establish why the fault occurred in the 1st place but everything online points to a build up of crud on various sensors etc so I have a couple of bottles of Cataclean to get through and we'll see how that goes. Reports seem to be good and some performance improvement would be welcome as I'm not 100% that it's a quick as it should be despite recent servicing etc.
Also got myself a wee tool to sort out the tyre pressures. Little hand held device, looks like a drill, but will pump the tyre to a pre-determined pressure and close off so seems good for home use. £23 amazon. Bought because I was a bit concerned about the pressures and rightly so. Angry at myself for not checking them before but measured at 20psi both front, 26 and 6 (yes 6) at the back yesterday. Only 2 psi loss overnight in the lower pressure tyre, but a visit to a tyre place coming up.
