Met a guy today with a engine problem..he has a freelancer with a 1800 k series petrol..on a 54 plate...his engine runs sweet but has lost its power up hill...he di scribed it has if the brakes were on..these checked...fuel filter ok....will reach speed eventually on a straight road but engine is lafargic....can anyone help.

Maybe the inlet manifold is leaking air, so an incorrect fuel mixture?

Calipers seizing is a common problem. Check the wheels after ajourney see if they are warm.
