just wanted to ask can you still find History of your car from mg Abington, have found dvla MOT history ,just would like to know what number in build process my car was ,thank you :broon:

mine was built at longbridge and was born on 26th january 2004 and rolled off the production line at 13.12pm

Email Brian young.

I'll send you his email by pm.

He does "birth certificates" with your info supplied.

You'll need the following.....

Vin number
Engine number.
Body number (found in boot, left hand side on part between boot and engine)
Glass numbers (in bottom corners of screen & door glass)

This is the information you'll receive about your car.

yes i contacted brian for my info....but i didnt follow it through for the birth cert...he even knew how many other cars were produced that day...and a series of dots printed on the mg glass also gave him info...he told me my original colour of seats etc...
