So I was thinking about side scoops. No real reason, just fiddling with the car. But then I thought, rather than spray them silver to match the car, what about black as a contrast? I know this isn't a TF or even a silver car, but this sort of thing

Anyone got black scoops on a silver car or anyone got silver scoops on a silver car so I can see what they look like?

I've got silver scoops on an Anthracite car. I think it looks better than body-coloured.

I think black on silver could work.

Anyway, do you think side scoops are worth it generally? It's the wrong time of year now, but do they really make a difference to cooling?

I have a TF 115 where the vents and mirrors are not body coloured and are black anyway. Mine is a black car so it is not noticeable, but personally for me the black vents on any other colour just make it look like a lower model....

To me, black accessories on coloured body work always looks a bit like someone ticked the poverty pack box from the options on the order form.

I've run the engine air intake pipes into mine, I don't think it can make a lot of difference to engine bay temps , but every little helps.
