So Anyway !!
I found some VHT silver paint in my shed !!
dunno how long I've had it or why I bought it !??
I would have preferred black but findseys cheapseys

I used my dremel to remove the thick scaley rust on the top & sides
& coarse sand paper backed with duck tape for the harder to reach bottom
painted on a rust converter.
masked with newspaper & sprayed inside & out 2 decent coats using my solder re-flow station
to cure it @ 200c for 5 mins (each !!)
although in the picture it looks white, it is silver !!

looking back/ lessons learned:
if your going to use cheap wire brush dremel tools, be prepared to pull bits of wire
out of your butt afterwards !!
it would defo have been easier to have dropped the back bumper.
working out of the sun means you can see what you're doing !!
