This person could not be arsed to change the km to miles.

Then snapped the tailgate to make it more practical.

Used this to open gates.

Seating area for sheep and a sheep dog.

I do have more pics but can't get the from my e-mail

That's a typical farmer's vehicle to be honest.

They treat them as tools and not desirable vehicles. They get them cheaper than the normal public and write the cost off against tax too.

Probably cost him nothing in the end.

I used to help out in a LandRover/Range Rover specialist, and you wouldn't believe some of the states that vehicles came in for service/repair.

We had one in for service that had a dead stinking sheep in the back!

What David said except the desirable bit, and in a strange way (as a Range rover FF owner) good to see an ewock being used not just on the school run offroading on pavements.

Borrowed an X5 recently to do a favour for someone in the farming world. There are grow bags on sale with less organic material in them than was to be found inside the car.
Braked hard to avoid a suicidal deer and felt things shoot out from under the seat into the footwell.
5 unused 12 bore cartridges..
Scooped them up and opened the armrest to stow them away. Found another dozen or more.
Not a brilliant advert for the owners take on safety - especially as he has young kids in the car all the time.
Ace bloke. Immaculate wife. Fabulous house (and wine cellar). Just couldn't give a toss about his wheels...
Amazing.

I would say 50% of people don't give a f*** for there cars. It's just some thing to go from A to B in without having to wait for a bus

Kellow-Falkiner, who used to be the local Rolls-Royce agent had a regular customer who was a wealthy sheep grazier, he'd have the back seat of his Roller retrimed every year after lambing season!!!! He claimed that the soft riding suspension of the Rolls was Ideal for rescuing sheep having difficulty giving birth, from the paddocks! :nonod:

I used to work as in independent vehicle inspector, inspecting cars that where coming to the end of there term for motability and the state of some of the cars was ridiculous. The worst and I'm not exaggerating any of this, was one that the guy had only had for 2 years and the inside looked like he had sat in the car for the whole 2 years and chain smoked because the whole of the interior had a thick film of nicotine over it the windows looked like they had a strong yellow tint, there was piles some 3 or 4 inches deep of ash and fag ends all over the floor every seat had fag burns , in some places on the dash it looked like he had stubbed his fag out on it , I don't think the car had ever been washed and had dents scuffs and scratches all over, a tin of paint had been spilt in the boot and never cleaned up.
I was stunned at just how bad he had treated something that at the end of the day wasn't his In my report I had to class the car as a CAT D write off ... The thing is under the motability terms for the car any damage beyond normal wear and tear they have to pay for which many didn't realise including this guy so he was not best pleased when I told him he was going to have to pay for his abuse and that he would not get another car
