It never ceases to amaze me just how many gullible people there are out there.

35% more power by plugging in a £3.98 device......really? :slapme:

The entire 'scientific' blurb on those adverts is hilarious but I highlight this gem.

The main difference between NitroOBD2 Chip Tuning Box and Remapping tuning methods is that NitroOBD2 Chip Tuning Box is easily removable

No, The main difference is that remapping costs £200-£300 and actually works! :bust:

From what I understand those cheap as chips chips, if they work at all, fool the ECU into thinking the engine is running lean so that it extra fuel is pumped in.
That does give a bit of extra power but with a loss of drivability, possible engine damage from overfuelling and of course an increase of fuel consumption.
It is basically a resistor in a box.

look at some of the warnings posted about these chips on the internet.......by pressing nitro chip warning on your search engine......you will see a bullitin explainig what problems the chip can cause.........it does no more than illiminate a sensor on the engine which you could probably just unplug............it fools the engine into thinking its taking in cold air............... :nonod: :nonod:
