Where to go with the TF 8 years 8 months ago #161951

Hi all,

Been a while since I last posted.

My TF had the inevitable HG issue a month ago. Ive had the head skimmed, new cam belt, water pump, manifold and expansion tank replaced.

The MOT took place last week and I took the measure of replacing the exhaust when it was in the workshop.

Im replacing the interior which isn't bad with Black leather seats, door cards and centre armrest later on this week. In for a penny and in for a pound and all that.

The bodywork is great but has one or two blemishes at 12 years old. I would in an ideal world get it resprayed but can't justify the price.

So my question is what direction do I go with the TF? I use it daily and love it to bits and get lots of comments wherever it goes.

What would be your suggestions, seeing as Im that far in now?

RUN IT AND SEE

kEEP IT FOR 6 MONTHS

You could try a good Clay Bar it like tee cut but better the take out minor blemish and good polish ,
When I done that too mine I got lots comments people thinking it had GOOD respray

it would only cost about 50 quid and lot of elbow grease

Shop around, you should get a decent used one for a lot less than that.
