I am sure you are aware a master piece of engineering was having a run out today :clap:
I was lucky enough to get take this picture earlier.



Did any one else get chance to see her. The sound, sight and smell were great! :woo2:

Great photo! I was lucky enough to see Tornado last year. I was at the Tain Vintage Vehicle Rally when I heard a steam engine. I thought it might have been an exhibit but when I climbed a small mound for a look, there was Tornado stopped on the line just outside the show ground and I watched her haul her carriages northwards. Wonderful!

Yes they are an amazing sight. So glad there are people who can take on these big projects and keep them going. It would take me ages just to restore the valve gear. ;)

Hi. Thanks for the comment. I was in the right place at the right time, the sun was in my eyes and shot blind :woohoo: I was Just north of Newark. It also gave me chance to go for a bit of a drive on a sunny day. :drive:
It is just like the Hogwarts Express and if you look closely you can see Harry has changed from his Anglia. Still have mine though. :bust:

Great photo. Working outside London several years ago and saw the Hogwarts express flames and all on the midland main line.
