Although not stated, almost certainly a Toyosports.
Paid £160 for mine 2 years ago & it's still going strong.

Looks interesting, my present exhaust is worn out, so was looking at changing it over the winter. Will this fit ok on an early mk1? I don't even know if it has a cat fitted or not.

That is the correct box for a mk1 F but it. Might be worth checking underneath that your system has not been modified, eg cat removed

Also check the condition of the nuts that secure the cat to the drop pipe and back box. You might find them as just rusty lumps that'll need an angle grinder.

Had a quick look underneath, did not see a cat but at the time was not really looking. Several of the exhaust fixings are lumps of rust, but could just cut through the whole lot, pipes and all,if necessary. What's the legal situation re removing the cat and mot etc?

Ob the F you need to have a cat fitted,
Most K series engines have a pre cat which is sufficient for the MOT but this isn't found on our cars.

The cat is behind and parallel to the silencer.

That's what they appear to go for, there is also one of their manifolds on at the moment up to £99, this might be a better bet

I was bidding on that as well but bottled it at £124. :nonod:

I guess there are probably a few of us looking at these at the moment so I think I'll hold off for a few weeks. Don't really need one and can't justify it really but they look nice :yesnod:
