Today, I have mostly been removing the OEM back box and replacing it with a TT MK7/2 full orchestra.

Big thanks to farmer Matthew for gassing the old bolts off, :woohoo: to Max/Neil/James for the loan of the hydraulic vehicle lift :hugs: and to Louise for sustaining coffee and biccies.

Bit of a silly video clip here, sound of orchestra performing through an avenue of trees to follow:

Tomorrow I will mostly be blaspheming, swearing and donating knuckle-skin to the TF as I will be fitting our Mk7 #37 which is currently adorning our dining room carpet. Shiny shiny!!

Next step after that: a tunnel, low gear and a lead boot...... :P

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

John - that's such a childish thing to do  I take a longer route home just so I can drive under two bridges :bust:

All stainless steel exhausts change slightly over time as they settle in. They generally become a little louder and richer in tone.

All done! Just over 2 hours start to finish, most of that removing the old 'un. Sounds great!!

Only one flesh wound incurred: bonus!!

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Well I put my heart and soul into some method acting :drive: :drive: this afternoon but the microphone on the videocam part of my mobile phone barely picked up the results. Country road, avenue of trees, change down opportunties. Stop, Start. The lot. More A star is born than Star Wars! huh! :slapme: :slapme:
