I know you can polish them up, but want a chrome one to match Deck Finishers & Door Handles.

If anyone has one / spots one for a resonable price rather than the silly money they go for on ebay - please let me know.

Nope, it's gotta be chromed.

Not overly impressed with the finish i got on the gear ring - but i did do it by hand...might try to see if autosol will give a better finish.

I was going to either polish mine up or use chrome spray paint or just not bother. Its on the list of non-important jobs to do. If you polish it by hand it will take ages. Take a dremel to it and crack on.

I did my motorbike foot pegs with one and they came up amazing in only 40 mins of polishing with it. Maplins do a replica one for about £15 and its OK

Think i'll be better off with a polishing mop for my grind wheel...but i still want a CHROME petrol cap ring!

Ahh - With the emphasis being on IF you have a party.

If you do, we'll come up on the train - no extreme "how to's" using our pride & joy after last nights shiny ring escapades...:P
