We are organising a trip out in June which will be starting in the Durham area over to Whitehaven area and stopping in the Premier Inn on Saturday night, followed by a run back again on Sunday.

This will mean we can have a meal and some drinks on the Saturday night and not worry about getting home.

The Premier Inn is £62 a night with cancellation option, or £49 without. I would strongly recommend the cancellation option just in case it snows.

Mrs Dave will be visiting the outlaws in South Africa at that time, so an overnight becomes compromised by having two cats and a dog to consider. However, I should be able to drive down to meet up for breakfast on the Sunday...

That's a long old drive on the Saturday.
Dave and I will aim to be at the Premier Inn for 1100 after consultation with Anne.

Looks like I will tag along to Hexham then cut up onto the Roman Military road along Hadrian's Wall and head back to Carlisle and on to home. I hope the weather is good.

Brockbushes garden centre is at the next roundabout after the Hexham turnoff on the 69, so we can have a coffee before returning!

So it is David - sounds like a plan to me. And I like their farm shop stuff too. What time will we be meeting in Carlisle, and where?
