The accommodation will be booked from Sat., April 13th. to Fri.,19th. However if you want a shorter trip it will be possible to come for 4,5 or 6 days. An estimated cost for accommodation is £40/double room per night & £78 for ferry. I will make sure we have plenty of bathrooms & loos!

Daily runs to places of interest will be organised such as WW2 landing beaches & resorts, Mt. St. Michel, Honfleur etc. Also a run around rural countryside possibly visiting one of the many cidre producers.

A deposit of £100 will be required to secure a place, paid by March 2nd. PM Forrester or me for details.

Another incentive to join us is that it is Davids' 60th birthday whilst we are away, so could be some celebrating to be done :yesnod:
Rumour has it that he might buy the beer [or cidre] :coat:

I'm desperately hoping that the Ma in Laws health picks up and that I can rearrange my work diary: I haven't given up hope of joining in yet!

I really wanted to help n the organisation of this trip but due to the above uncertainties had to bow out.
Fingers crossed! Plan B may be to get the ferry direct to Normandy for a couple of days and come and irritate you all!
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Just to add that the Dover/Calais ferry will be much cheaper & the drive time from Calais is about 4 hours.
As mentioned you can come for a few days; make sure it includes the18th [DA's birthday]

Anybody going to the "Pride of Longbridge" show can still join us on the Normandy event by arriving on the Mon. or Tues. & departing Fri. or Sat. :broon:
And still be there for party night :P
