Does anyone know the official Production figures for the MG Spark Edition, There is the 1000 UK figure on the MG Evolution web page, but what would the total be.

If you can manage a breakdown by
a) total with EU figures
b) By engine Derivative
c) by Colour.

Ad's (aka Brooklands) question was posted on the MGF Register site, I told him that if anyone would know, someone on here would, and as it is MG related I thought it might fit in nicely on here.

.. answers can be posted on the MGF Register for any members, his question is under the General Board

Thanks everyone

Gary.

Gary,

I reckon the only man I know with any chance of being able to answer that question would be Dieter. I've not met anyone else who has access to that level of production figures.

If I were you I'd pm Dieter

After what Tim Morris has said about the T Bar forum in the past, i am reluctant to give them information that they can easily research themselves. And i am a member ot the MGF Register too. !

Not sure if Dieter will have this information as the Spark was a later TF special edition. i understand the production was 1000 cars and the split was about ~ Later>>>>>>>>

Thanks Paul (and Bryan), I'll Put Ad in touch with Dieter directly as both are on the Register they can discuss between themselves.

To be honest , after trying to follow the MG Quiz  zes, I was putting all my faith in Bryan....seeing some of his questions and knowledge of all things MG I was sure if anyone would know - He would. :yesnod:

I am not privy to any past comments, or even who Tim Morris is, as a newbie the last thing I want to do is open a can of worms.

From What i can find is there were 1000 cars made for the UK market - I think I have one of them.

Tim Morris runs the MGF Register within the MG Car Club ~

IF you give me the VIN number for your car i can check it for you starts SARRD ......... engine number and Reg would help too.

Now onto the TF sparks ~ as far as i am aware there were 1000 made starting on 23 July 2004, in three variants 115 (200 made) 135 (700 made) and the 160 (100 made) There are still 160 of the 115 model, 598 of the 135 model and 60 of the 160 model still registered of SORN'd , so a few have been lost.

I researched a 2005 Spark for another forum member and came up with some interesting stuff, from the Vin and windscreen date it was made in November 2004 but not registered until 16 March 2005 as a 2005 car!

it would be interesting to research yours too. :yesnod:
