  • To me this is pointing to an issue with the VVC solenoid or the timing of the cam for it.

It's obvious the ECU is requesting it but the car isn't getting it or the sensor is not reading it correctly.

But as the sensor does appear to be reading a signal as previously said it could be a wire faulty or a faulty ECU.

Have you another ECU to try first?

If these all check out I would be checking the VVC solenoid.

Just a quick question on people's opinions on the different Pektron key fobs available.

Many of the experts says the red diamond Ferrari style ones fail very quickly and won't disarm the Pektron SCU.

The later ones which say X-Part on the back of the PCB are said to be the best ones and best replacement for originals but I don't think they disarm the immobilizer like the originals and the one above.

Has anybody got any experience with the ones Reomobilise sell that are using a Hyundai case.

I've got a few on my car and a red diamond style one that has worked fine for 8 months and I've two original ones that are flip key converted.

So what's everyone else views on other fobs.

  • Hi thanks for your reply.

It's clear water and it's coming through the top of the hard top in the middle.

Headliner at the front of the hard top is wet.

    Is the alignment adjustable?

    Many thanks for your reply.

Hi got in my car today to come to work, do night and it had been raining most of the day.

The storage pocket in front of the gear selector was full of water.

The car has a hard top on at present.

Does anyone have any ideas where the water has come from?

  • This would be a welcome feature with X-Part and T4 garages closing and also not supporting the older systems.

But as this post was over a year ago with no new update I assume no progress has been made on it.

  • Sejin99 replied to the topic EPAS and PSCAN in MGF/TF Pitstop
What tools have you tried? I know the following will read and connect to the EPAS unit directly via the unit or via OBD II.

    PScan, Sykes ACR 4 POD4 or G2 pod, SP SPi, Delphi DS100/150, TopDon-ArtiDiag BT808.

  • Sejin99 replied to the topic Air filter housing clips in Wanted
    Hi James I have yes.

I'm not after the metal ones that hold the two halves together.

I'm after the ones that go in from the side and hold the lower box to the fuel filter bracket.

They look like two pegs with a large washer style head on them.

Unless people have any other way of securing the air filter box.

Hi new on here but got myself a low mileage TF.

However it has had a silly open cone air filter fitted and I've put it back to stock but I need two of the plastic clips that hold the lower air filter housing in place.

They are obsolete now with X-Part.

If anyone has any for sale PM me please.
