Hi All,
Congratulations to 8 winners.
And I'd like to say my thanks to Adam san for this competition held.

Rad plug detail is below. I've already tried that for 1.5 year(20,000km), that's no problem.
Maker: Ohno rubber industrial co.,ltd.
Part No: YH-0080
I got it from Monotaro internet market (similar to the RS components)
http://www.monotaro.com/p/0945/0043/
Unfortunately, They say no international shipment....If you want to buy it which I can arrange. B)

Thanks,
Secky

OK it seems that if you have an aftermarket rad these may not fit! At least one winner has told me theirs doesn't fit!

MGR only specified PYP100500 with a thread of M12x1,25

Dieter also says that a Suzuki bike plug p/n Suzuki 09247-12106 fits. It's M12x1.25 as well.

So if you try it and it doesn't screw in easily then DO NOT FORCE IT IN!!!!

I had the same problem with a Mike Satur radiator bleed screw. It wouldn't fit my aftermarket radiator. :nonod:

Who Oh Why eh?! Whats the point of changing the spec, other than the ability to use parts bin stuff to make up the rads!

I am that winner. Without want to sound ungrateful at all would anyone with the standard radiator like this plug? My radiator is a 2007 replacement fitted by an ex MG Rover dealer (Wilcox) according to the service history and the bleed is a slotted 'bolt' of a smaller diameter.
