I have just put a post up about this before I saw this topic..think this could be the answer to my problem...

It's not a big job really. First disconnect both ends to make sure it's not the throttle body or the pedal that's causing the problem. :yesnod:
Just follow the old cable down the driver's side beneath the carpet and up and the rear panel and through into the engine bay.
