Lady MGF, before you do anything please get the car looked at by someone who has a clue as to what a MGF actually is.
Most motor mechanics wouldn't know if a MGF was up their fundamental orifice until the passengers opened the doors to get out!
Now possibly some kind and knowledgeable member of the this forum may be able to pay you a visit to assess the trouble. (I suggest a bottle of scotch or some such might be a good bribe
) or possibly someone here can recommend a mobile MGF specialist in your area who could help you. It would be money well spent.
Tis a pity your not here in Melbourne Oz, otherwise I'd check it out for you.
I can always use another bottle of scotch!
