Good offer from Sithmaull which could be used as a base for an event.
Needs to be organised fairly quickly so we can hope for decent weather.
I've already got hols booked for early Sept. & Oct. as have others probably, during this period.
As a few beers would go down well, the field seems good for camping overnight & hopefully there are some B&B nearby for old gits like me.
I know we have some members in the SW. so are any of them prepared to take this on?
I'm willing to help if needed.
Can the Mods. move this to a separate thread to avoid clashing with the Manchester do.

The field isnt really suitable for camping to be honest but there is a travelodge about 3 mins drive away and a B&B opposite the pub. There are also numerous B&B's and hotels a 12 min drive away in Tiverton.

There's no real point in moving it, Sithmaull can start a new thread and / or event for this when he's ready. These topics usually throw up more events and I'm sure we won't hijack it too much and lose sight of the FRM event and it's reason for being held.

Anybody interested in a SW event won't click on the FRM event & i would think they would resent the intrusion to the thread.
As said best if Sithmaull starts a new thread.

Ok. Let me see what dates are good for us and report back on this. Whats the average number of cars that come to the events?

If you make it a date in May next year, we'll possibly be in as we're normally down that way.

A rough idea on numbers would be handy if possible.
