right my car is still at the sprayers and not due back till feb so i thought ill give the dash bits a paint.thay had a snake skin effect on them that was all crack so heres my how to.
first i give them a good sand with 240 wet & dry

then i give them i good clean with a damp cloth
i use a hair dryer to dry them (you my need permision)
use the hair dryer to get them warm ready for primer

i used this plastic primer from b&q really good stuff a lite coat first

give them 3 coats use the hair dryer between coats. after i put them in the airing cupboard over night

next i use a inbetween coat pad to give them a lite sand all over

now thay are ready for top coat .use the dryer again to warm the plastic
just dust them over for the coat

leave for 5 mins now give them fall coat leave for 5 mins still use the dryer now give them a good wet coat

this is the finnish product

As others have said - great 'How to' with fantastic results!

Also, as Bryan pointed out, you have already stepped towards the Dark Side with the bits of bling you've bought! It is very easy to stray...!

Love the red interior. Penelope Mk1 had red interior and I miss it :(
