Hi my laptop hdd went wrong so have replaced the hdd with a new one, will this affect the license linking for the pscan interface?

If you are putting a new hard drive in the same, previously registered laptop then the software should recognise that it is the same laptop and reuse the same license.
In any case if it goes wrong then I have a way to fix it.

Thanks for the reply yeh it's the same registered laptop just with a new hdd it seems to be working now iv just not had the chance to plug it into the car yet to check,

Hi,last week mgf failed mot on a couple of items but main concern is emissions so got out the laptop& pscan to check for faults but i cannot get the program to open.Carried out variouse mechanical checks etc,slight exhaust leak,fuel cleaner, plugs blah blah went for retest today & it failed miserably on emissions again

Please post a screenshot of how far you get and describe exactly what happens.
Is the pscanloader not running at all?
Is it running but not finding the driver?

Hi thanks for the reply,Can see pscan in files,but i cannot open it,when pscan connected the box is flashing tried to connect to car,makes no differance

The pictures are all of the FTDI driver.
You also need to run the pscanloader program.
Please go https://pscan.uk/install/windows.html and follow the instructions from step 4.
