Hi there ,
I Have my pscan I bought long time ago ,and it's it's third computer ,the others two went dead ,but know it's says computer not registered and giving me limited options .There is any way of deregister the older computers and assume this new one or I have to buy a new pscan ?

The software should ask you to register the new computer.
Say yes. 
Then it should ask you to select one of the old computers to deregister. 
Select one. 
Then the new one should work. 

If there is a problem then I will fix it. It will not be necessary to buy a new one. 

Well that's the problem, the software don't ask me choose a new computer ,I will do some print screens and posted here so you can see ,but before that I will do a new installation of the software to see if the option to change the computer appears .

I don't know if have any relation but my wife's Rover 45 from 2005 it works even limited but on my Rover 600 diesel it can't connect ,before was connecting with no issues.
Tomorrow I will test with my autocom CDP to see if I can get a connection on the rover 600 them update you .

I am guessing that the Rover 45 is EOBD compliant and you are connecting in EOBD mode (which works without registration). Once we sort this out you will be able to connect in EDC15M mode which provides a lot more features and data.

Also send me a private message with your unit's serial number (or your real name so I can look it up in our records).

When you have the debug information on screen, click with your mouse on the top line of text.
This puts a cursor on the text.
On your keyboard press shift and arrow down key at the same time.
Keep the shift and down until all of the lines are highlighted.
If not all of the bottom line is highlighted then press shift and right arrow to get all of the bottom line highlighted as well.
Once all the test is highlighted, use your mouse to right click on the text.
A menu should appear.
Select "copy".
Paste in a message to me.
As soon as you do this I can unlock your interface.

shift PgDn will get you nearer to the bottom faster.  So you can start with shift PgDn and then swap to shift Arrow Down to get to the last line, and then swap to shift Right Arrow to get to the end of the last row.

If you connect your laptop to a car and to the Internet at the same time and run pscan, and if I haven't made any mistakes   it should all work now.
It should give you the option to register your laptop now.
Let us know how it goes.
