Version 042C includes a feature developed with SAWS Tuning for the MEMS3.

You can save your existing ECU tune and send it to SAWS. They can then modify the file and send it back to you, and pscan can load it into your MEMS3.

As more information becomes available I will post it here.

Is this a remap?

And will they be doing the same for MEMS 2.0J?

MEMS prior to MEMS 3 do not have option of changing map by just upload or download the map. Older MEMS must be opened and change the chip inside in order to alter the map.

The webpage on the SAWS site is up and running https://www.sawstuning.co.uk/pscan/

Yes this is for remapping a MEMS3.

Nice one, what costs are involved?

You would have to talk to SAWS about their prices.

There is no commercial link between pscan.uk and SAWS Tuning. We worked together to produce something that is beneficial to both companies (and customers of both companies).

They are great folks though and I couldn't have done this without their help.

So is this locked to SAWS? Or can I tune my own file once I have Pscan?

At this time only files supplied by SAWS will load.

I also need to clarify that pscan will only be able to remap MEMS3 ECUs from UK built cars. My understanding is that it is not possible (at this time) with the SAIC built MGTFs.

Please update to pscan version 0430 if you want to put on a SAWS tune. Some ECUs have been struggling with taking the files in from previous versions of pscan.  If you have used a previous version and hit error code 17 then upgrading to 0430 should sort out the problem.

Hi PScan.
I'm not needing SAWS tune, thanks, nor have I experienced error code 17 so can I stick with 043f please?
I presume that, for now, I can refuse the log-on update, but can you reassure me that 043f won't be swallowed up in subsequent firmware upgrade please?

I think the update process will only let you ignore three versions, so if you have 042F then when 0432 comes out I think it will just update.
You can make a copy of your existing pscan folder somewhere else on your harddrive, and then upgrade to version 0430.
If you have any problem with 0430 then you could easily copy the backup folder back and go back to 042F.
If there is any problem with 0430 then I will fix it.
