Hi I'm trying to install pscan prior to purchase and I'm struggling to do so.
I've downloaded everything, changed the firewall and it says the driver has installed.
However when I go to run.
I have no port to select and the message FTDI driver not loaded.
Can anyone assist?

This is completely normal. You have gone as far as you can without an actual pscan interface.

When you download and install an FTDI driver the process doesn't 100% complete until an FTDI chip is actually physically connected. This is just a characteristic of Windows.

Also if you can see the pscan software with an empty port selection dialogue and complaining about no driver then it means that you have successfully installed it and it is compatible with your laptop.

Basically you are now ready to go as soon a pscan arrives if you have bought one or if / when you do.
