Is the green light flashing on the box?

Make sure that there is a 12V supply on pin 16 of the diagnostic socket of your car. It could be as simple as a blown fuse on the car.

The interface is powered from the OBD socket so has to be plugged into the car.

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

MG - the friendly marque.

Thanks for the advice. The green light is on now and I could read and delete engine ECU error codes on my 2000 Freelander 1 petrol.
I also tried to read the EKA code but I got the message: "Not yet implemented".

A Freelander doesn't have a 5AS. We are working on more Freelander features at the moment.
