Sorry for the delay, I thought others might have hopped in. I’ll have to go into a dark corner of the garage to check what I’ve got in now, I’m certain they have iridium electrodes & I thing their Bosch but I’ll have a root & get back to you. M

Sorry wrong on both counts. The boxes from which they came are NKG platinum PFR6N -11 3546 & it’s they that are in the car now. It’s the Bosch that are in the boxes.
NKG do an iridium plug but I’ve no idea of the number nor do I know the practical difference between platinum & iridium other than their places on the periodic table.

I use Denso platinum spark plugs, PK20PR-P8, in both of ours F. I installed them in my F in 2011 and have now driven over 30,000 miles without a problem. I did pull one out last winter and it looked like new.

I also used NGK Laser Platinum PFR6N-11 / 3546 plugs. They were recommended to me by my tame MG Rover mechanic. I fitted them 4 years ago and they have been absolutely fine. I'd buy them again.

I got them from aceparts_uk on ebay. They were the best value at the time.
