New exhaust has no lamda connection? 2 years 6 months ago #197207

Hi all
Bought a new back box that has an extended elbow round to the cat but it has no connection for the lamda sensor. I have read about an ‘eliminator’ but doesn’t this still need a connection?
Not doing away with the cat.
And no can’t send the back box back as it was an eBay ‘bargain’ lol.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum

What you have bought is an exhaust for a mk1 F which only have a pre cat sensor.

Your car will run without the post cat sensor but will through up a warning light.
Alternatively you could get a local engineering shop to weld a boss on or get the correct one for your car.
