Stainless steel manifold and downpipe 3 years 3 months ago #194991

Got one on the shelf , but i am still in doubt,  iam afraid to loosen the bolts where the manifold is attached to the block. A little scared, if one breaks, then what? Can that still be repaired without removing the entire engine from the car?

Not too easy in the car but the head can come out so time it for when you get a new head gasket.

................I've always had a problem with the compatibility on ebay, i never trust it........

Ask here before you buy, several of us have mixed it up with different parts

My mk1 VVC MEMS 2.0J has a MEMS 3 manifold and downpipe to a Land Rover cat and mk1 tailbox.
It has TF 2002 subframes with MY05 suspension and MGF subframe mounts.
The gear cables are mk2 F with a modified TF lever mechanisum.
Door cards are TF as are the door mirrors.
A bit of a frankin F! LOL

Hi talkingcars, do you happen to know if the six bolt version will fit the LE500? It has the hole for the Lambda sensor but the supplier seems to think that it wouldn't fit my 2008 LE500. It will obviously remove the pre-cat original set up which seems restrictive even after a remap. Thanks

Sorry Pete, I am not sure but IIRC the LE500 has a pre-cat and different engine management.

You really need to ask the manufacturer if the manifold is suitable for fitting to the 'N' series engine in your 2008 TF LE 500mainly because of the different Engine management - hope this helps
