Hi All

Friend has passed to me a new Ambient Air Sensor MHK100520 ( Elwood ES110-4), as he did not need it.


So, I looked where it should go. Now I know in my TF the engine bay the sensor used to be above the expansion tank in a body braket (the emtpy bracket is still there). But I cannot find where it may have been re-postioned to.

In the engine bay there is are two sensors which I was told: horizontal sensor for radiator fan, verticle sensor for temperature guage. This was for an F, no too sure if the F is the same as the TF?

If this is correct where does the ambient air sensor go?

Later TF's did not have the sensor fitted, they relied upon the engine temp sensor instead. I think they were phased out mid 2004
