Well mot time to me means its time to put the tf to bed for a bit..yep I mot in October and it sleeps till may...where did that year go...anyway might nip me in the backside but this mot which is this Thursday morning I'm just going to polish it....even though our rainy mornings might spoil the finish...ain't done a lot of miles this year and being dry stored all year round makes a big difference to the condition..so here we go .....

Good luck although I don't think you'll need it.:broon:

Only done a couple of thousand miles myself this year. My TF sailed straight through the MOT again a few weeks back.:woo2:

Well done Bob and as for Mr Bluestreak, they say the things you worry about never happen so you'll be fine I'm sure. The comment about being dry stored all year is bang on . I thought I was going to have to let my TF go a while ago as I had to vacate the garage that my TF has been tucked away in as the old lad I rented it from ( sub rented from the council ) passed away. After a frustrating few weeks with alot of very confusing phone calls and emails I have managed to secure the same garage so ( Frosty) my TF has a home again . :woohoo: I will be sorning it at the end of the month as I can't see this weather being anything other than gloomy for a while . :nonod:

Mg rover have always had some of the most fantastic colours out in there day..I noticed a long time ago that keeping the body clean and polished shows off that colour...if it goes dirty it looks just a drab colour that other car companies use ...my favourite colours all-time are my trophy blue and John's colour...they are the best.

Well done on the MOT.

If I had dry storage my car would spend so much more time on the road as it would get fixed quicker.

Well I need a garage has at work I was nicknamed the rain man...no I'm not a apache Indian or anything like that but when I go out it flipping rains.and stops when I go back in.....not only last week I did the brakes on our kia...won't move the tf out of the garage I thought I will tackle it out doors....sure enough got some kit out and put a socket on the wheel...my early warning device(bald head)detected rain... in the garage you go...got it inside has the rain stopped...ah well it means I can work on the car day or night with no bother.....when I was a kid I often passed people working under jacked cars in the street....poor soles...but then there wasn't the same amount of traffic we have today....clearing the street for Charles and Diana street party back then meant moving 3 cars....a escort a Hillman minx and a mini....now the said same street would need a large task force to clear it.....forgot to mention declared sorn on the tf.....not a raindrop will touch her body till may.

I would love a garage - just being able to leave my tools out during a job if I have to pause for the night would be nice.
