Hi all, just ordered a remapped mems 2j ecu from Saws Tuning, a straight plug n play apparently, is there anything I should watch out for doing the change over ?

I have spoken to these guys from SAWS at the Pateley Bridge cc show , they did my TF at MGFnTF go north last year . They are both very knowledgeable and great to talk to . I'm sure they would have said if there was anything to be careful with . Make sure that you have the ignition OFF when you fit the ecu.

Well it won't harm , negative lead not positive . You will need to have the code to the radio if it requires it .

Always best to disconnect the battery for at least 10 minutes when playing with ECU. The old ECU will remain live for about 10 minutes after ignition off.

How do they get around matching the ECU with the immobilizer?

I am thinking of getting my mems 1.9 remapped with SAWS what sort of benefit could I expect.
