Its a great feeling innit? Your 15 year old - or older vehicle is better mechanically than some of the 3 year old cars on the road.
All the hard work and care goes to show how good we can keep our cars....long live the MGF and TF!

How about this then chaps,... I got my F through the test three weeks ago with no advisories, and last week my TF passed, although the tester advised of the small amount of play from the front wheel bearings.
All this for £25.00 per test from ATS who have an offer on at the moment or the RAC are also offering cheap MOT,s.
I give them both a little pat on the boot after, is that weird or what?

hi , put mine in the other month advisery on f/n/s tyer. went to kwik fit they said it had an other 2000 miles left on it,realy cracks me up,they have their own rules, was upset at that but it past, [attachment=26263]IMG_

What was the actual description of the advisory?
The average car does 12,000 miles a year so 2000 miles would only be 2 months.

Nearside Front Tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge (5.2.3 (e) yet when i took it to kwik fit they said there was nothing wrong with it,
