Got round to checking the tyres fitted to my car - 15" wheels - Uniroyals, 195/50 on the front and 205/50 on the rear. I haven't seen these mentioned anywhere - does anyone have any thoughts on their fitment to a TF? Car handles ok, but I haven't taken it over 65 yet.

If you are happy with them for the time being I'd stick with them until they need changing.

Normally I'd expect to find 185/55/15s at the front and 205/50/15 at the rear.

185/55 x 15 on the front. 205/50 x15 on the rear is standard fitment.
195/50 x 15 is commonly fitted on the front as it is usually a cheaper and more readily available size.

Thanks for the clarification, I was aware of the standard fitments, but wondered why 195/50 had been fitted to the fronts. The handling appears ok, and the tyres are relatively new and in good condition, so I'll stick with them for the time being, and replace with Falkens in due course.
